Community ISD Students Killed During Car Crash In Lavon

Multiple students were killed in a multi car crash in Lavon Tuesday night.
The crash happened on State Highway 78 around 6pm when two cars collided.
The cars involved students from Community ISD.
Community ISD superintendent Dr. Roosevelt Nivens released a statement confirming the victims of the crash were in fact students and said “The loss of these young lives is a devastating and unimaginable tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and loved ones. Right now our focus is on caring for our students and the adults who are grieving the loss of these Braves. We are strong as a Brave Nation, but our hearts are broken as a Community ISD Family”.
