Child Killed In Frisco During Possible Murder Suicide Attempt

A child was found dead inside a vehicle and the mother injured after an attempted murder suicide Saturday evening.
Frisco police responded to a welfare check on the 15200 block of Preachers Lane and when they arrived they found a a child and mother inside a parked car.
The child was pronounced dead at the scene and the mother was transported to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.
Detectives are investigating and believe this to be an isolated incident.
The names of the victims have not yet been released.
