Cab Driver killed During Possible Attempted Robbery

A Dallas cab driver was found deceased deceased on South Polk Street in Dallas Sunday night.
Officers responded to a shooting call on the 3200 block of South Polk Street and when they arrived they found an unidentified cab driver deceased in his cab.
Authorities believe the shooting actually happened in the Family Dollar Store during an attempted robbery and that the driver drove across the street to the parking lot of some apartments for help.
When officers arrived the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
No suspects have been arrested at the time but the investigation is ongoing.
