Rayane Nazareth Cardozo da Silveira, aka “Hello Kitty,” was killed in a shootout with police on Friday. She was one of the most sought after fugitives, drug trafficker in Rio de Janeiro.
Alessandro Luiz Viera Moura, aka “Vinte Anos,” who is allegedly the head of Salgueiro’s drug trafficking, was also killed. They were both apart of “Comando Vermelho,” the biggest drug trafficking business in that country.
The ordeal began when authorities were notified that a family was being held against their will. When police arrived to the location, gunfire began. The two offenders were rushed to a medical facility but succumbed to their injuries.
Two years ago, the police tried to apprehend Silveira, but she fled. There was reward money for the capture of both of them.
Silveira, born in 1999, went from singing in evangelical cults to drug trafficking. In 2018, she was investigated for numerous robberies.
