Two sisters announced the shocking news that their two sons are brothers, cousins, and twins.
Brittany and Briana, from Virginia, are identical twins who wed identical twins Josh and Jeremy Salyers. They then had babies who were born just months apart.
The sisters posted on Instagram, displaying their sons, Jett and Jax. The caption read, “Cousins, genetic brothers, and quaternary twins.”
Some users were baffled, but the science isn’t. Identical twins share the same DNA, and both sets of parents are identical twins. Therefore, the kids are brothers although they are really cousins.
Thus, if a DNA test was performed, it would show the boys to be siblings. This isn’t too shocking when observing how similar the boys look to each other.
The couples met at the same time in 2017. They experienced their nuptials together and live together as they grow their families.
