Police are investigating after a young mother was fatally shot in a Houston parking lot following a bar fight early Sunday morning.
Shortly before 2 a.m. officers responded to a shooting call near Legends Lounge on Griggs. Upon arriving officers located an unresponsive woman and three victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
Emergency crews arrived and pronounced the woman dead at the scene. The other three victims were transported to area hospitals where they were listed in stable condition.
While investigating authorities learned that a group of 20 people were at the lounge for a birthday party when they got into an argument.
The argument quickly escalated and turned physical after a woman was disrespected.
After being removed from the lounge the fight moved to a gas station parking lot where at least three people pulled out handguns.
Multiple shots were fired leaving a woman dead and three others injured. The deceased woman was later identified as 27 year old Alexandria Wright.
At this time no arrest have been made.
