Bank Of America Donates One Billion Dollars To Fight Racial Inequality

Bank of America, over the next four years, is donating One Billion Dollars to help community programs and small businesses address the racial and economic inequality that has shown its self during the Coronavirus pandemic.
On the press released Tuesday by CEO Brian Moynihan stated that “underlying economic and social disparities” were made worse by the pandemic and mention the nationwide protests sparked by the death of George Floyd in police custody has “created a sense of true urgency.”
This donation is an expansion of the several hundred millions of dollars that Bank Of America donates/Lends to smaller, minority-owned business.
They have stated that they will expand their health services, such as vaccination clinics within the communities of color, and that they will be recruiting more members from economically disadvantaged communities.
