Baby Girl Diagnosed With Stage 4 Cancer Receives Hateful Message From Would Be Donor

An 18 month old little girl battling stage 4 cancer received a very hateful message from a would be donor because her parents were lesbian.
According to reports and a GoFundMe page Callie strong, Tiny but mighty was diagnosed with advanced neuroblastoma on New Year’s Day and will need to undergo chemotherapy and radiation treatment, a bone marrow transplant and a future surgery to remove the tumor once it has shrunk.
The parents Tiffany and Albree Shaffer reached out to facebook for support and have been at the hospital around the clock doing all they can do while their baby girl Callie is recovering.
Unfortunately a supporter that was going to donate to help baby Callie left a very hateful and disturbing message for the Shaffer’s that read.
“My prayers for Callie. I was going to donate $7600.00 to her fund, but I found out her parents are lesbian. I’ve chosen to donate to St. Jude’s due to that fact. Sorry. I’ll still pray for her though but maybe it’s God’s way of getting your attention that she needs a mommy and daddy not to mommies.
After reading the message the parents told reporters they were hurt and it made them feel bad but just maybe this was a blessing.
Callie is set for round 5 of chemotherapy soon and is said to be doing much better with 98% of her tumor dead.
