A missing toddler boy was found dead in a body of water at a resort near Walt Disney World Thursday morning.
Three-year-old Rakim Akbari was reported missing after he wandered away from the Sheraton Vistana Resort Villas at Lake Buena Vista, near Walt Disney World, on Thursday morning.
When the Orange County Sheriff’s Office issued a missing child alert, they notified the public that Rakim had autism and what clothes he was last seen wearing.
Deputies located the toddler’s body Thursday afternoon in a body of water on the resort’s property.
The Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating how this occurred.
