Police have identified the shooter of a deadly church shooting that took place in Sutherland Springs, Tx.
Sunday morning Devin Patrick Kelley,26 walked into First Baptist Church of Sutherland Springs and opened fire killing at least 26 people and injuring over 20 more. Police say Kelley pulled up to the church around 11:20 am and started shooting then walked into the church and opened fire. The victims ranged between the ages of 5-72 and 8 of the victims were related. Authorities have not released the victims names yet because it has not been clear if next of kin has been notified.
Authoities say a neighbor saw the gunman shooting and began firing at him. Kelley fled the scene and police say they found the suspect about 11 miles from the crime scene dead in his vehicle. It is unclear at the time of how he was killed but authorities are still investigating this case and will be releasing more information throughout the day.
