Smart rings are the newest upcoming gadget that will soon be seen and heard about everywhere. Apple just released it’s Apple Smart Ring patent and Amazon introduced it’s Amazon Echo Loop.
Smart rings are expected to have many of the same qualities as Smart Watches with a different twist. They can track your sleep cycle, keep track of your movements and provide activity information, make wireless payments with NFC, control your other devices, and even be used to unlock doors and grant security access.
There are already a few smart rings currently on the market including GO2SLEEP, Oura, Motiv, and THIM. Each ring offers different features since they are still evolving and companies are learning more as they go. They cost around $200 currently but are expected to go up in price as demand gets higher.
