Angry Customer Stabbed By Papa John’s Employee After Assaulting Him With Metal Pizza Paddle

A 26 year old Papa Johns’s employee was arrested after he allegedly stabbed a customer that chased him around the store with a metal paddle because his pizza order wasn’t correct.

The incident occurred on August 17 around 10 p.m. when officers responded to a stabbing call at a Papa John’s on Woodbridge Center Way.

When officers arrived they found 40 year old Herbert Harris suffering from stab wounds. He was taken to an area hospital for non life threatening injuries.

According to reports Harris walked into Papa Jon’s complaining about his food order. He said they forgot to give him garlic sauce and pepperoncini. He then went behind the counter grabbed a metal pizza paddle and began chasing and assaulting Robert Klein.

At this time Klein feared for his life and grabbed a knife and stabbed Harris in self defense.

Harris stayed at the store yelling at employees until officers arrived. Klein was arrested and charged with second degree assault.

  1. I don’t understand why the employee was arrested. The customer was in the wrong and assaulted the employee. Why wasn’t the crazy customer arrested
