There have been documents stated by Luby’s, that show’s the restaurant chain is expecting to close down the rest of its locations by August, which has been determined as the end of its fiscal year.
It was stated in filings that – “It states that liquidation is ‘imminent’ and that the likelihood is remote that we will return from liquidation.”.
As of Monday, it was reported that Luby’s had a three million dollar loss in its fiscal first year. In September, a plan was signed by the board of directors for the parent company of the Houston-based restaurant chain to liquidate and dissolve the company.
Although there are a few Luby’s restaurants still open in North Texas, those have already been determined to be sold off as part of the liquidation plan.
