The death of actor Ron Cephas Jones was confirmed to news sources on Saturday.
The 66-year-old Emmy award winner is most commonly known for his role as William Hill on the hit NBC series, ‘This is Us’.
Although an official cause of death has not been ruled, sources say he suffered from a long-term heart condition that eventually took its’ toll.
In 2020, the actor, who was a lifelong smoker, received a double lung transplant.
As an award-winning actor, Jones had a successful career and was nominated for 4 Emmys. He won 2 Emmys for outstanding guest actor in a drama series in 2018 and 2020.
He is survived by his 34-year-old daughter, Jasmine.
