A woman accused of a gruesome murder and beheading in Wisconsin attacked her attorney during a court hearing, moments after a judge agreed to postpone her trial. Taylor Schabusiness, 25, was seated in a Brown County circuit court when her attorney, Quinn Jolly, asked the judge for an additional two weeks for a defense expert to review his client’s competency to stand trial.

After Judge Thomas Walsh reluctantly agreed to delay her March 6th trial, Schabusiness attacked Jolly she was then tackled to the floor by a deputy.

More deputies were called to the courtroom.  “They need a code three in branch two, wrestling with Schabusiness.”

After the attack, Schabusiness was heard asking deputies what had happened.

“You went off on your attorney, Taylor. You went crazy on your attorney,” they responded.

Schabusiness has been charged with first-degree, mutilating a corpse, and third-degree sexual assault in the murder of 25-year-old Shad Thyrion. Police say she strangled Thyrion, sexually abused him, and dismembered his body, leaving parts of his body throughout the house and inside a vehicle.

She pleaded not guilty because of a mental disease or defect. Schabusiness is being held on a $2 million cash bond. After her courtroom outburst, her competency hearing was moved from Tuesday to March 6.
