A Man And Woman Injured When Gunman Opens Fire On Their Minivan Near Interstate 35S In Dallas

A man and woman were injured after a man with a rifle opened fire on their minivan late Sunday night.
Officers responded to the southbound side of interstate 35 service road where witnesses told them a man standing in the road opened fire shooting several rounds into a minivan.
The driver or the van crashed through a concrete barrier and into a construction zone.
Both victims were transported to a nearby hospital with non life threatening injuries.
The gunman had already fled the scene on foot before officers could arrive.
It is unclear if the gunman and victims know each other.
This shooting investigation is ongoing.
