A Handful Of New Texas Laws To Expect Starting September 1

Beginning September 1, Texas will have a handful of new laws that will go into effect.
The Heartbeat Bill is new and bans abortion once a fetal a heartbeat is detected. With this law there will be stipulations for those with medical conditions or emergencies.
The next is House Bill 1535 which allows majority of Texans to have access to medical marijuana. Along with that they will also increases the dosage limit from .5% THC to 1% THC.
Then we have the Sunday beer and wine sales which will allow consumers to purchase beer and wine at 10am on Sunday mornings.
