9 Year Old Fatally Struck And Killed By A Vehicle While Riding Electric Scooter In Dallas

A 9 year old boy has died after being struck by a vehicle while riding an electric scooter.

The incident occurred on March 12, around 5:40 p.m., near Materhorn Drive and San Paula Avenue.

Officers responded to the scene and found the child suffering. The boy was transported to an area hospital where he died from his injuries on Friday, March 15.

The driver of the vehicle told authorities he didn’t realize he struck the boy. It is unclear if any charges will be filed at this time.
