84-Year-Old Driver Was Discovered To Be Without A Driver’s License, For 72 Years, During Traffic Stop

Police pulled over an 84-year-old driver in the U.K., this week.

They then discovered that the man hadn’t had a driver’s license in 72 years.

The driver, who was retired, had issues hearing and standing up. He confessed to authorities that he hadn’t had a driver’s license or insurance since he was 12-years-old.

“Thankfully he had never had an accident, caused anyone an injury, and never made anyone lose out financially, by hitting them whilst uninsured,” officials stated.

The man had been pulled over after a traffic camera caught him driving without the proper documentation.

Police haven’t released his name or said if he was charged with a crime.
