A 71-year-old woman from Florida has been charged with killing a man after getting angry over his lack of cleanliness.
On Thursday morning, Tampa Police responded to a residence in the 1000 block of E. 26th Avenue for reports of a shooting incident. When officers arrived, they discovered a black male who’d been shot multiple times. The man was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
According to investigators, 71-year-old Patricia Whitehead and the victim lived together at the residence.
Reports state that Whitehead had started to get angry because the man “did not clean up after himself.” On the day of the incident, the man was leaving the home when he allegedly slammed the door.
Whitehead went to her bedroom and retrieved a gun, followed him outside, and shot him multiple times.
She was arrested and charged with first-degree murder.
