A 70-year-old woman from Delaware won the lottery twice in seven days, profiting two six-figure winnings, amounting to $400,000.
Reports indicate that the woman from Newark, who wishes not to be identified, purchased two $100K Ultimate Cash Instant Game tickets and discovered that one was a winner.
After she was driving to her residence with a friend, subsequent to picking up her earnings from Lottery Headquarters in Dover, she purchased three Serious Money tickets just for fun. One of the tickets was another winner which was $300K.
“My best friend was the first person that I told about winning the $100K top prize, and she came with me to claim it. When I scratched the $300,000 winning Serious Money ticket later that day, we just sat there in disbelief. It was absolutely insanity,” the woman stated in a Delaware Lottery statement.
The woman reported that she plans to use the money for retirement.
