70 Year Old Woman Punched In The Face While At Church Praying

A praying elderly parishioner woman was attacked Tuesday morning by another woman in New York while she was praying.
The 70 year old victim was inside St. Monica’s Catholic Church on East 79th St praying when a female suspect in her 40’s or 50’s told her to Shut Up and then punched her in the face before fleeing from the church.
The unidentified victim was taken to a nearby hospital and treated for minor cuts and then released.
According to police and a witness the suspects name may be “Annie” and a frequent to the area.

The suspect was last seen wearing a dark colored jacket, a hoodie and may possibly be in her 40’s or 50’s.
