70 Year Old Man Critically Injured And A Woman Killed In Crash, Two Men Street Racing Arrested

A 70 year old man is critically injured , a woman is dead and two people are behind bars after a speed racing crash Friday night.
The crash happened around 6pm when the couple in the van were turning onto Lake June Rd from Mcgregor St and were struck by a white Dodge Charger.
The woman passenger of the van was transported to Baylor University Medical Center where she died and the driver was also taken to Baylor in critical condition.
After investigating officers learned that Leedarion Lucas,29 was racing
Reginal Manning’s Ford Crown Victoria down Lake June when Lucas crashed into the van.
Lucas was taken to an area hospital and treated for minor injuries.
Both men were taken into custody and charged with racing causing a death and racing causing serious bodily injury.
