62 Year Old Woman Fatally Struck By Vehicle In Kroger Parking Lot

A 62 year old woman was fatally struck by a vehicle while walking across a parking lot in Arlington.

The incident occurred on the 2300 block of SE Green Oaks Blvd in the Kroger parking lot, around 3:45 p.m.

While investigating officers learned that a pickup truck was driving south in the parking lot and made a right turn when he struck the woman.

The driver of the truck immediately stopped to render aid and contact police.

Emergency crews arrived and transported the woman to an area hospital where she died from her injuries.

Authorities said they don’t believe that alcohol and drugs played a part. No charges will be filed.
