5 Children Die In House Fire As They Were Left Alone While Father Shopped For Christmas Presents

640views

Three young children and two other people lost their lives in a residential fire in northwestern Arizona.

On Saturday, at about 5 p.m., the fire began. The victims were unable to escape the two-story duplex in that neighborhood, close to the Colorado River, authorities with the Bullhead City police department stated.

The five victims were aged 2, 4, 5, 11, and 13.

As of now, the cause of the fire isn’t known. However, it was noted that the fire began in a downstairs foyer area and went up the staircase. Thus, the children couldn’t escape an upstairs bedroom.

Authorities haven’t released many details on the matter but stated that there were no adults in the residence at the time. The father had disclosed to detectives that he had been gone for about 2.5 hours to purchase groceries and Christmas presents.

The fire continues to be investigated.

  1. When will folks learn to take their kids with them instead of having their other kids watch them if they don’t have any other sitter.. this shyt gettin more ridiculous and crazy.. blows my mind how mfs don’t use common sense..

    1. Lynn Daniels like donate money to help people pay for sitters sometimes you have to do what you have to do instead of talking about people help

  2. Something sounds suspect about this….the fire started in the front foyer (by the door) and all 5 kids passed including a 13yo ? The only way this would even be plausible is if it was night time and the kids were asleep.

  3. I cant imagine the pain this family is in. Now you have to deal with the state AG. Thats going to be a problem. Good luck.
