Jad Pollom, 4, and his relatives, from Chattanooga, Tennessee, had been camping on Memorial Day weekend when he had been bitten by a venomous copperhead snake.
His mother noted that Jad was playing on the porch of a cabin when the incident occurred. His father took a picture of the snake as it went away.
Jad was swiftly taken to a medical facility. There, he was administered 10 vials of anti-venom medicine. Afterwards, he was airlifted to a Children’s Hospital for medical treatment.
After three days, the 4-year-old was released from the hospital.
His mother reported that the family won’t be going on anymore camping excursions for quite some time.
