Four Dallas police officers were injured early Thursday morning after being struck by a vehicle while at a call.
According to reports, around 3 a.m. officers responded to a shooting call on the 3100 block of Community Drive.
Upon arriving they located a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. Emergency crews transported him to a local hospital with non life threatening injuries.
While investigating officers learned that the shooting suspect was still barricaded inside a home on Community Dr. He was arrested shortly after.
As they were finishing up an uninvolved driver then struck a marked police vehicle with an officer inside and the squad vehicle struck 3 officers.
All four officers were transported to area hospitals where they were treated for their injuries. The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene.
