38-year-old Melissa Blair, from Englewood, Tennessee, is facing charges for having sex with 9 high school students for vape pens.
On Tuesday, Blair was apprehended and indicted on 18 counts of statutory rape, four counts of human trafficking by patronizing prostitution, solicitation of a minor, and forfeiture of personal property.
The McMinn County sheriff’s office stated that at least nine male victims reported sexual activities that happened between 2020 and 2021 at McMinn Central High School.
Parents reported that Blair connected with the males, who were between 14 –17, through social media. She then told them that she would provide them with things like vape pens if they had sex with her.
Authorities first began to look into the matter when a letter was written anonymously to the school district. The woman was helping with the booster club but wasn’t a teacher or a worker of the school district. Blair did have a child at the school but that person has transferred to another school system.
Blair is no longer allowed on school property or at any events.
On Tuesday evening, Blair posted a $100,000 bond. On February 28, she will be arraigned.
