3 Year Old Dead After Accidentally Being Shot In Head By Family Member

A 3 year old is dead after being shot in the head Monday afternoon in Arlington.
According to reports the incident happened on the 4100 block of Maple Springs Drive and when they arrived they found a toddler suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
The toddler was transported to a nearby hospital where he died from his injuries.
Although it is unclear how the toddler was shot authorities believe it was an accidental shooting by a family member.
This investigation is ongoing.
