A Bronx woman was found guilty Thursday of using obituaries to rob the homes of families while they attended funerals.
Latonia Stewart,30, robbed six Winchester homes between 2017 and 2018 using obituaries to pick her victims.
She then broke into the homes using a sledgehammer, getting away with jewelry, silverware and other valuables.

Stewart was arrested in May of 2018 in Greenburgh after being spotted leaving one of the homes she was robbing.
Authorities found jewelry and other stolen items in her vehicle and at her home. They also found a website with obituaries pulled up on her cellphone.
She was also arrested in 2019 on burglary and larceny charges after being caught with over $20,000 worth of stolen merchandise.
Stewart was found guilty on six counts of burglary in the second degree and criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree.
She faces up to 15 years behind bars.
Her court date is set for November 22.
