Crowley ISD Teacher Placed On Administrative Leave

A teacher at Crowley Ninth Grade Campus has been placed on administrative leave for excessive force while restraining a student.
The incident happened in a classroom and was recorded by multiple students, who then posted it on social media.
The video was called disturbing and unacceptable by staff members of Crowley ISD.
The actions performed by the teacher do not align with Crowley ISD guidelines for our educators.
Proper disciplinary actions will be taken once the investigation is complete.
Crowley ISD said in a statement, “ that the safety and well being of our students is out top priority in Crowley ISD, and we are committed to providing a learning environment where all students can thrive.”
