A 27 year old man was arrested by Duncanville police early Tuesday morning for murder.
Officers responded to a call regarding an unresponsive person on November 1, on the 200 block of Merribrook Trail.
Upon arrival officers found the victim, Nissa Danielle Evans,48, unresponsive from a gunshot wound inside her residence.
Emergency crews arrived and pronounced the woman dead at the scene.
During the investigation officers determined they had evidence to believe a family member was responsible for the murder.
Tuesday around 1:40am SWAT arrested the suspect, Steven Hill,27 at a local hotel parking lot.
He is being held in Dallas County jail for murder, on a $1,000,000 bond.
