A teacher has been apprehended for supposedly sexually assaulting a young boy that she met at an Arkansas church. That church had often been visited by former President Bill Clinton.
26-year-old Reagan Gray was said to have sexually assaulted the boy since 2020. This was while she worked as a volunteer at the Immanuel Baptist Church in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Last month, the boy’s parents found multiple text messages on their son’s phone and gave the information to the senior pastor at the church.
Gray, who was employed as a teacher at Little Rock Christian Academy, was temporarily removed from her volunteer role as she undergoes counseling. This comes after she told church leaders that the relationship wasn’t “physical.”
The boy told federal agents that Gray had given him oral sex; however, they didn’t engage in sexual intercourse so that he can remain pure.
The supposed abuse was said to have happened almost a dozen times in Gray’s vehicle or residence, the victim stated.
In a later interview, a church leader told the FBI that Gray confessed during a counseling session that the relationship was sexual, last year.
It isn’t known if the church leader or the victim’s parents told detectives about the supposed abuse.
The church leader left his position at the beginning of April due to the accusations.
At the same time, Gray, who is now employed as Sylvan Hills Middle School, was placed on administrative leave in February due to the allegations.
She was charged with sexual assault and was apprehended but later freed on a $20,000 bond.
