22-year-old Beauty Couch, an Instagram influencer, has been identified as the person whose body was found in the woods, close to a burned-out car.
Authorities in Austell, Georgia, have suspect foul play in her death.
On Wednesday afternoon, the city’s fire department went to a brush fire and discovered the burned-out vehicle, extinguished the fire, and had the vehicle towed to a wrecker yard.
Authorities then went to the address of the car’s owner. Detectives were told that Couch, who is the owner’s adopted daughter, normally drove the car. However, she hadn’t been seen since the day before.
When police went back to the area where the fire was, they discovered Couch’s body in a wood line. It isn’t known how she died.
Couch, also known as Beauty Katera, was a rolling skating influencer with almost 150,000 followers. She uploaded recordings of herself dancing and skating at the rink.
No suspects have been identified, and an investigation is continuing.
