A 21 year old man has been arrested and charged for the stabbing death of his 7 year old brother in Halthom City.
According to reports the incident happened Saturday night on the 4900 block of Orien St and when officer arrived they found Jacob Gabriel Brito,7 suffering from multiple stab wounds.
He was transported to Cook Children’s Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.
According to family members the suspect Isidro Brito Bruno,21 and the victim were in the living room alone when they heard screams.
When the mother went into the living room she saw Isidro holding a knife and Jacob suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Family members contacted police and Isidro fled the scene before officers could arrive.
He was later found down the street with self inflicted stab wounds.
He was taken to a nearby hospital and treated for his injuries and then transported to Tarrant County Jail and charged with murder.
It is still unclear what the motive behind the stabbing was.
This investigation is still ongoing.
