21 Year Old Ft. Worth Man Arrested After Fatally Shooting Mother During Argument

A 21 year old Ft. Worth man is in custody after he fatally shot his mother during an argument Saturday morning.
Officers responded to a shooting call on the 1300 block of Royster Rd.
Once officers arrived they found the suspect Calvin Brown,21 sitting outside on the steps.
When they went inside the residence they found the suspects mother, Alice Brown,61 suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Emergency crews arrived and pronounced Alice dead at the scene.
According to police, Calvin and his mother had some sort of argument that morning around 10am.
He went into his room grabbed a handgun and said his mother started to walk towards him so he shot her once before blacking out and shooting multiple times.
He then told police after the shooting he drove to what he thought was a police hub. After that he went back home used a strangers phone and called 911.
He was arrested and taken into custody on a murder charge.
He remains in Tarrant County jail on a $50,000 bond.
