An investigation is underway after it was determined that the 20 year old man that was shot multiple times by Ft. Worth police shot himself in the head first. 
According to reports JaQuavion Slaton,20 shot himself in the head Sunday while sitting in a truck with a 10mm gun before he was shot by police multiple times.
Fr. Worth officers were trying to arrest Slaton for an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon warrant when they spotted a gun on him. 
He was shot by at least 3 Ft. Worth officers in the chest. It is unclear how many rounds were shot at the time.
Medical Examiners ruled Slaton’s death was a homicide Wednesday and the cause of death was multiple shot wounds to chest and head. 
Investigators said if the medical examiner can determine the head shot was the fatal shot they would change his cause of death to suicide.
