2 Men Arrested In Connection With Deadly Shooting In Fort Worth

Two men have been arrested in connection with a shooting that left 3 people dead and 8 others injured after the Comofest in Fort Worth.

The incident took place Monday night near Horne Street and Diaz Avenue following a 4th of July event when multiple men opened fire into a crowd of people.

The bullets struck a total of 11 people killing three of them. The victims were later identified as 22 year old Cynthia Santos, 18 year old Paul Willis and 18 year old Gabriella Navarrete.

On Friday Fort Worth police arrested 20 year old Christopher Redic Jr. and 19 year old Brandon Williams. Both men were charged with murder.

During a news conference Fort Wort Police Chief Neil Noakes said that he believes the shooting was gang related.

Authorities are still investigating this case and believe there could be more shooters.
