Authorities reported that two individuals were found deceased in a U-Haul truck parked at the Franklin Light Rail Station in south Sacramento on Thursday night.
The Sacramento Police Department stated that the discovery occurred around 6:45 p.m. at the light rail station located along Cosumnes River Boulevard. A man and a woman were discovered in the truck’s rear compartment.
Additionally, a charcoal grill was present in the back of the truck, and police indicated that it may have contributed to the fatalities.
Sacramento police mentioned that a coroner would be examining the bodies to ascertain the cause of death.
