A 19-year-old has been taken into custody in relation to a shooting that occurred in the Pleasant Grove area of Dallas earlier this month.
Jamarion White was apprehended and charged with murder on Thursday, police say.
On June 19, 18-year-old Kevin Hernandez was discovered on the ground outside of a convenience store on North Masters Drive.
Authorities reported that two men in an SUV drove into the store parking lot and approached Hernandez. They left the scene after shooting him.
Hernandez was transported to a medical facility where he succumbed to his wounds.
An investigation is continuing.
