A man from Wylie is facing charges after allegedly running over a woman with his vehicle on purpose.
The incident occurred around 9:45 p.m. on Sunday at the intersection of Ray Hubbard Way and Richland Chambers Court.
When officers arrived, they found a 25-year-old woman who had sustained multiple broken bones.
According to the victim, she had been in an argument with the driver of a white Dodge Charger, who then intentionally struck her with the car.
Wylie police were able to track down the vehicle shortly after and arrested the driver, 18-year-old Mahey Mohammed.
Police reported that Mohammed admitted to driving the car that hit the victim.
He is now facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The victim remains in the intensive care unit at the hospital.
