Garland Walmart Temporarily Closing Due To COVID-19 Outbreak

A Garland Walmart will be temporarily closing its doors at 2pm Friday to do a thorough cleaning due to high COVID-19 cases.
The Walmart location is at 1855 S. Garland Avenue.
Health officials confirmed the store was closing due to several employees testing positive for the COVID-19 virus.
At least ten employees have tested positive.
The store will remain closed Saturday for a thorough cleaning and sanitization of the building, and will reopen its doors Sunday at 7am.
