Dallas police are searching for a suspect who shot and killed a 17 year old girl while she was sleeping in her bedroom.
The shooting happened in a community near Interstate 30 and Dolphin Road around 2:30 am, Tuesday.
Crystal Rodriguez, 17, was asleep in her bed when a bullet pierced her bedroom wall and struck her. The bullet is believed to be a stray bullet from a drive-by shooting.
Rodriguez was taken to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. Police don’t yet have any information or clues regarding the incident.
A motive for the murder is still being investigated.
