16K Pounds Of Ground Beef Purchased At Walmart Stores Recalled Due To Potential E. Coli
Over 16,000 pounds of ground beef that was sold at Walmart stores throughout the U.S. have been recalled because of potential E. coli contamination.
Reports indicate that $16,342 pounds of raw ground beef items sold by Cargill Meat Solutions have been recalled. These items were produced April 26 and 27 under many different labels.
The establishment number “EST. 86P” is printed on the back label of all of the products. They had been delivered to Walmart retail stores throughout the country.
A press release shows that a producer sent an alert about the concern after it was found that that the affected products, which had already been separated, had been “inadvertently utilized in the production of ground beef.”
No reports of illnesses have been reported at this time.
Buyers are encouraged to check the refrigerator or freezer and swiftly discard the product or return it to the place where it was purchased.
