Elderly Man Killed By Drunk Driver

Dallas police are investigating a crash that left a 70 year old man deceased early Thursday morning.
The incident happened on the 7400 block of Kiest Blvd when the victim was traveling westbound.
The suspect was driving behind the victim at a high rate of speed when he lost control and crashed into the back of the victims vehicle.
The victim and front passenger in the suspects vehicle were both pronounced dead at the scene.
Another passenger in the backseat of the suspects vehicle was transported to Methodist hospital with conditions unknown.
The suspect fled the scene before officers could arrive.
This investigation is ongoing.
