16 Year-old Signs Multi-Million Dollar Contract

Jalen Lewis has become the youngest player to sign a pro basketball contract.

Lewis,16 from Oakland, California, has signed a multi-million dollar contract with Overtime Elite professional  basketball league.

He is number 12 in the recruit class of 2023.

The 6’10, 220 pound forward/center is a 5-star recruit. As a sophomore last season, he averaged 20 points and 10 rebounds each game.

He has traveled with basketball teams to enhance his skills. In the spring, he was an accomplished member of the USA Men’s Junior National Minicamp.  He is planning to make the team for the 2021 FIBA America’s U16 Championship in August.

“Jalen is one of the most exciting  young talents in the country. We are humbled that he has chosen us to take his development higher on the court and academically. We will build his brand,” said the OTE EVP, Head of Basketball Operations.
