16 Year Old High School Student Arrested For Not Following Mask Mandate On School Grounds

A Wyoming teen was arrested last Thursday for trespassing after she refused to leave school grounds or wear a mask.
Gracie Smith,16, a junior at Laramie High School, was arrested after she returned to school from a 2 day suspension for violating school mask mandate, without a mask.
Smith filmed herself being recorded and when she asked officers why she was being arrested they said “for trespassing school grounds.”
The school was placed on a brief lockdown during the incident.
She now faces three separate two-day
suspensions over refusing to mask up and received $1,000 in trespassing fines for refusing to leave the campus.
The school district approved the mask mandate on Sept. 8 and it was set to end on Oct. 15.
