A 16 year old was killed and two other people were injured during a shooting in Pleasant Grove Thursday night.
On May 2, around 7 p.m., officers responded to a shooting call on the intersection of North Masters Drive and Carolina Oaks Drive.
Upon arriving officers found two people suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were transported to area hospitals where the 16 year old died from his injuries and the other person was listed in stable condition.
While investigating officers learned that there had been a crash and following the crash some unknown people that were not involved in the crash began fighting. Soon after, shots were fired striking three people. The third person was self transported to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries.
Authorities are still investigating to determine what led up to the shooting. The suspect(s) fled the scene before officers could arrive.
