16 And 21 Year Old Arrested In Deadly Drive By Fort Worth Shooting

Fort Worth police have arrested two people in connection to the deadly drive by shooting that claimed the lives of a 5 and 17 year old.

On Tuesday authorities announced that they arrested a 16 year old male along with 21 year old Anthony Ray Bell-Johnson for murder.

The actual shooting took place shortly after 2 p.m. on August 28 in the 8500 block of Steel Dust Drive when officers responded to a shooting call.

Upon their arrival they found three victims 5 year old Rayshard Scott, 17 year old Jamarrien Monroe and an 18 month old. The 5 and 17 year old died from their injuries and the 18 month old suffered minor injuries.

According to reports, a group of people were outside a home when a vehicle drove by an opened fire striking multiple people.

The U.S. Marshal Service worked with local police to make the double homicide arrest. No further details such as a motive have been released at this time.
