15-Year-Old Plano ISD Student Loses Life in Dirt Bike Accident

A student from Plano I.S.D. died following a collision with a vehicle while riding his dirt bike on Wednesday night.

Police reported that the incident happened around 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Roundrock Trail and Landershire Lane. When officers arrived, they discovered that a 15-year-old boy was riding his bike without a headlight when he collided with another vehicle that was stopped at the intersection.

Emergency responders rushed the teen to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
